New Works: Views of Vietnam
"In Views of Vietnam I've focused on the tranquil landscapes found off the northern coast. The greater area known as Ha Long Bay is a world heritage zone preserving an ancient way of life, living on the water, sheltered by the thousands of islands that dot the horizon.
"My wife spent almost two weeks on Cat Ba Island the largest in the chain as a hub for exploring rock climbing options throughout the karst topography. The area proved to be a popular tourist destination for both Vietnamese and Chinese travelers. During our visit it was not particularly crowded and we were told most people come when the weather is at it's warmest!"
